Kickin Chicken Buffalo Bacon Mac n Cheese wich

I once again visited Kickin' Chicken, the new addition to the SAC food court and the location of my first review on this blog. Excited to try something spicy this time, I purchased a Buffalo Bacon Mac n Cheese wich. When I received it, it was a large chicken sandwich topped with buffalo sauce, bacon, and mac and cheese. I ordered the sandwich itself with a Fuze iced tea to wash it down. The initial presentation of the meal was mouth watering in a sloppy sort of way. My mouth even waters at this very moment simply recalling the meal's presentation. However, it was in a minimalistic paper basket so it could only earn a 6. The taste was amazing especially for SBU food. The creamy mac and cheese blended nicely with the crisp bacon, the crunch of the breading gave way to a soft chicken interior, and the buffalo sauce gave it that kick that I needed so desperately in the previous sandwich. Altogether it was a very good sandwich. I simply wish they would use brioche bread instead of skimping on us and using the same bread that is served at public school lunches.

The texture was great mainly because of the bacon, which scored this sandwich one higher on the scale than the classic 'wich. Its aroma was simply mouthwatering, I love buffalo sauce so much and could not wait to bite into this wonderful meal. Unfortunately here it begins to falter. It cost me a reasonable $6.75 considering the toppings. It was a bit bigger and had more toppings than the classic 'wich (replacing pickles for bacon and mac and cheese, signature sauce for buffalo sauce) but it could never justify a 60% price hike. Its nutritional value was also not great probably around a 4 I am sure eating many of these would have a negative effect on the human body. Even so this sandwich was so good that I ate it before I had a chance to take a picture.
