Great Value White Meat Chicken Egg Roll

After an hour and a half long journey to board the bus to Walmart I was met with empty shelves. I could not get my hungry man meal, even the bread aisle was empty only containing foul undesirable potato bread.

The freezer section was not only mostly empty but the few products there were strewn about the shelves some having their contents spilled out and on the floor. After looking around for a few minutes I bent down and found something that wasn't Stouffer's meatloaf; chicken egg rolls from Great Value. They were laying face down next to another open pack of egg rolls, the only two left. I snatched it up and went to pay. A few weeks later I finally decided to microwave them. I microwaved two of them and they came out very soggy and quite cold where I had to put them in the microwave for twice the recommended time.

The sogginess brought down the texture and presentation by a significant margin. The aroma was quite nice and smelled like real fried egg rolls. At a price of $2.38 for 4 they were an amazing deal and for that they earn an 8. Their nutritional value was not great but also not bad and they get a medium score for that.

These were much better than I thought they would be, exceeding my expectations and raising my opinion of the Great Value brand.
